I am Yno

Yno - the baby of our family. He's the reason why we enjoy going home. We just love him so much.

Scene 1
Me: Yno, who do you look like? Your mommy or your daddy?
Yno: I am Yno.

Scene 2 (while playing fruit ninja together)
Kenji: Oops! I'm sorry I hit the bomb Yno!
Yno: It's okay. I forgive you.

Scene 3 (while impatiently waiting for 'mamang' while fixing up)
Yno: (knocks vigorously on door) Mamang! you're sexy now!

7th anniversary in SG

7 years of LOVE with my love love love of my life was celebrated in Singapore :) This is our first out of the country vacation. 4D/3N - luxurious hotels, breathtaking views, a day in the zoo, midnight munching in hawker places, meeting a friend, winning a little in Marina Bay Sands casino. Singapore is amazing. It is the exact place we needed from our daily beach life, on our special day :)

Meritus Mandarin knew about our anniversary hence, this gift :)
We met up with Faye and her brother during our SG visit
OMG, will not forget this Katsudon in Ion
Me and my life.

HK with mi familia

We seldom go out of town together because of our attention seeking careers. But, we thought, HK would be an easy visit, not that far and it's going to be a short shot. I remember going when I was in 4th grade, that looooong. So this is - Revisiting Hong Kong after 15 years. Here's a video of our trip :)

What we liked (and learned) about our HK - Macau trip:
1. We enjoyed Marco Polo Gateway because of its shopping district location, staff's courtesy and fluency in English, and great breakfast (croissant is to die for!).
2. Hong Kong Disneyland is for the really young and the young at heart. We decided to bring
Yno next time! Ocean Park was - okay.
3. The Venetian Hotel was amazing. I was in awe just looking at the lines of tourists in the lobby. Rooms were spacious. Bathroom was beautiful.
4. Egg tarts, egg tarts, egg tarts! If I were rich and I were craving for Portuguese egg tarts, I'd fly away to Macau and take a bite :)

P.S. This Singaporean laksa, from Disneyland, stole our hearts.

Remembering the Cruise

Celebrated my parents' 25th anniversary on a Bahamas Cruise. Argh, I just love traveling :) Thanks mom and pops! Route for 5D/4N: Miami - Nassau - CocoCay - Key West - Miami. We enjoyed the cruise buffets and fine dining, but most of all the suggested 'must tastes' when we docked: conch chowder, conch fritters and key lime pie on a stick. Yum!

I heart Key West, really.
Did I say, I heart Key West?
